We are seeking a CT Technologist, internally referred to as a Radiologic Technologist II (Rad Tech). As a CT Technologist you will specialize in operating CT scanners and X‑ray machines to produce cross‑sectional images that help diagnose medical conditions. You will assist in determining treatment plans by producing high‑quality images that support providers’ patient care decisions. This position is a per diem (PD/PRN) role.

Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and X‑ray machines to obtain images of targeted body parts while optimizing image quality and minimizing radiation exposure.
- Position patients on the CT table with empathy, explain the procedure, and address concerns or questions.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and in administering contrast agents or performing certain procedures as needed.
- Maintain quality assurance of CT scanners and X‑ray machines, ensuring proper functioning and accurate image output.
- Maintain and organize radiologic supplies, ensuring equipment is operational and following infection control protocols.
- Participate in performance improvement (PI) and quality control (QC) activities; assist in maintaining performance improvement programs (PIP).
- CT certification plus certification in one additional modality.
- Licensure as required by state.
- Effective July 1, 2017 - national certifications in two modalities.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.
