• Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for the critically ill, and/or patient experiencing a psychiatric emergency, that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
• Meets the educational and informational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family centered.
• Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality.

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred for nurses hired after Sept 1, 2013. Nurses hired after this date without a BSN must complete their degree within 5 years of hire.
• One of the following:
  Licensed RN - MO (Missouri) or RN Multistate License Missouri; KR() RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO;
  Licensed RN - Kansas or equivalent required within 90 days.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (MO or KS as applicable) upon hire.
• Life Support Certifications required upon hire per policy.
• Specialty Nursing Certification encouraged for all eligible nurses.

The pay range begins at $33.43/hr your offer will be determined based on education and experience. This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
