Patient Accounts Representative

Job Description

Saint Luke's in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our team. You will perform a variety of functions related to managing the accounts receivable, following established processes and policies for billing and reimbursement.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of Medicare experience and 2+ years of commercial/Medicaid experience.

Monday – Friday.

• Performs claim edits
• Verifies insurance coverage
• Follows up with payors on open accounts
• Performs denials and payment variances

Experience with facility claim submission for a hospital system is preferred.

Epic experience is a plus.
