Summary: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisor, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.
Physical therapist that has a strong outpatient background as well as comfort in acute care to support evaluations and treatments. Will function to fill in for planned and unplanned absences. Ideal candidate can work in both care settings, outpatient and acute. The acute requirement is 2 weekend days per month minimum and 1 holiday minimum. The outpatient requirement is availability at least 2-3 days/ wk for coverage needs.
As a PRN employee, there is no guarantee of hours, but with our large PT dept, there are frequently more need particularly March through December.
SPECIAL
SKILLS:
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
LICENSE/CERT: Required: PT (Physical Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
