Status
Major Duties- Provides assistance to the Division and Headquarters Offices in the design, development, and implementation of new accounting systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Participates with the Branch Chief in installation of accounting systems and modifications or adaptations thereto, and in design of supplemental procedures, forms and reports required to basic instructions.
- Performs continuous review of computer output to analyze and validate the integrity of the financial database.
- Participates in pilot programs for developing and testing modifications to CEFMS II modules.
- Performs or reviews the drafting of District fiscal regulations and reviews the work program on a continuing basis to standardize and improve procedures with due consideration to internal control and other accounting principles.
- Prepares non-routine correspondence involving the more important decisions, proposals or commitments to other offices within the Corps of Engineers, other governmental offices, and to individuals or firms.
- Analyzes and inputs manual labor adjustments based on Foreign Military Sales policies
