We are partnering with a highly respected construction organization with international reach that is expanding its finance leadership team in Kansas City. This Finance Manager role is built for a strategic FP&A professional who thrives in complex, project driven environments and wants to be close to the action.
This is not a back office finance role. You will operate as part of a highly skilled, fast moving SWAT style finance team, stepping into the business to solve problems, drive insight, and influence decisions across large scale construction and infrastructure projects worldwide.

What You’ll Do As Finance Manager:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to construction, engineering, and project leadership teams
- Own FP&A support for complex, multi phase projects including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Provide clear financial insight on project margins, cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Build and maintain models that support long range planning and scenario analysis
- Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives and capital deployment
- Translate financial data into actionable guidance for non finance stakeholders
- Step into high priority initiatives requiring rapid analysis and decisive recommendations
- Continuously improve how financial insight is delivered across the organization
What You Bring As Finance Manager:
- Strong FP&A experience within construction, engineering, or project based environments
- Proven ability to partner with operations and influence decision making
- Comfort operating in fast paced, high accountability settings
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Clear communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts
- Willingness to travel occasionally based on project needs
