What Will You Do in This Role?

As a key member of the Health Care Team, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, including the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statement packages, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. You will also contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting initiatives.

• Prepare and ensure the timely completion of monthly financial statements, including supporting schedules, reconciliations, and detailed analysis.
• Oversee the preparation and accurate submission of financial reports to clients, as well as federal and state regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and requirements.
• Coordinate financial controls across operations, including detailed budget variance analysis, evaluation of compliance with internal policies, and preparation of performance reports with actionable insights.
• Compile PBC lists and manage documentation requests during external financial statement audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with other functional departments to provide guidance on accounting policies, promote adherence to best practices, and enhance financial processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required; high proficiency in Excel is a must
• A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and attention to detail required
• Ability to consistently meet hard deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Must possess a commitment to client support
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams
