The Treasury Department at Chinquapin Trust is a dynamic, highly collaborative team that plays a vital role across the organization. We provide strategic cash analysis, seamless payment management, and comprehensive treasury operations supporting multiple individual and corporate entities, including a private foundation—ensuring financial agility, accuracy, and confidence at every level.
The Opportunity and Why It MattersTreasury Analyst reports to the Chinquapin Trust Company Senior Treasury Operations Specialist. The key roles and responsibilities relate directly to treasury operations for the organization. The individual will be responsible for managing the cash flow and banking transactions across multiple clients and the company. Additionally, they will also analyze daily cash balances to ensure adequate funding for current and upcoming transactions, leveraging multiple internal and external data sources.
They are responsible for reviewing bank statements, processing various bank transactions, preparing cash forecast projections, monthly cash reconciliations, and assessing liability levels.
- This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the best of both worlds: collaborating in person in our office in Kansas City, MO and enjoying the flexibility of working remotely. Currently, the team works on site every Thursday, with occasional additional days if needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (the following is required to be considered for this role)
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in treasury, cash management, and/or banking
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (your application will stand out if you have the following)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Treasury, accounting, or finance experience in multi-entity environment. Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration.
- Able to manage competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Detail-oriented while demonstrating strong analytical thinking.
- Experience with banking systems/software.
