This type of position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Bank Operations and specifically Wire Operations Support. We will provide you training and coaching throughout your onboarding experience, as well as on the job. • As a Wire Operations Specialist, serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for wire transfers. This includes daily support for clients and internal teams that process wire transfer transactions.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers for both domestic and international transfers in compliance with Bank policies and procedures while meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements and regulatory rules, laws, and regulations.
• Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
• Operate as an effective communicator, stimulating and motivating others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
• Detail-oriented work, handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently within established guidelines.
• Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies related to the position, including BSA and OFAC requirements.

• Provide support to all banking centers and other departments where support or assistance is needed related to wire transfers.
• Verify and confirm all incoming and outgoing wire transfers, meeting deadlines and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the associate and client experience.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate parties (Wire Operations Lead, Manager, etc.).
• Collaborate with other teams to create an environment of teamwork, efficiencies, and problem solving.
• Work to mitigate risks associated with wire transfers and focus on fraud prevention measures.
• Ensure all proper documentation has been received and executed appropriately.
• Perform call-back verification to confirm transaction details and authentic origin of the wire transfer.
• Answer and respond to inquiries via email.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant job experience with client service
• 2 years of bank operations, banking center or equivalent experience with an emphasis in wire operations
• Excellent business communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Associate’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
• 5+ years of relevant job experience with emphasis on wire operations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to perform within a complex, multi-functional technical environment
• Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations
