Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years experience in corporate tax or public accounting
- GAAP knowledge
- CPA preferred, not required
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for corporate entities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions, including ASC 740 calculations and related financial statement disclosures.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues, including changes in legislation and their impact on the organization.
- Support tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s effective tax rate and identify opportunities for savings.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams and external auditors during tax audits and financial reviews.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and processes related to tax compliance and reporting.
