Credit Analyst / Collections Specialist (Remote – KC Area)

$25/hour | Long-term Contract

We’re hiring an experienced Credit Analyst / Collections Specialist to join a high-performing, collaborative collections team. This is not an entry-level collections role. You’ll handle complex account reconciliations, investigate payment issues, and work directly with educational institutions nationwide.

• Work all aging buckets from current through collections
• Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve disputes
• Export data into Excel for reconciliation and reporting
• Communicate primarily via email with colleges, universities, and training facilities
• Conduct professional phone calls when needed
• Partner closely with internal teams (cash apps, invoicing, support)
• Follow structured documentation and credit hold processes

• 3–5+ years of B2B collections or credit analysis experience
• Strong reconciliation and dispute resolution background
• ERP experience (Great Plains or similar)
• Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, multi-sheet reports; pivots a plus)
• Professional written communication skills
• Organized, detail-driven, and self-motivated
• Able to manage high volume without dropping the ball
• Fully remote (must live in KC metro area)
• Long-term contract with conversion potential
• Up to 5 hours OT during peak months (Jan–Mar)
• Collaborative team with strong tenure and support
