A vertically integrated real estate organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee financial operations across a diversified real estate portfolio. This role supports the full lifecycle of multifamily developments—from land acquisition and construction through stabilized operations, as well as existing retail properties and vacant land holdings.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning end-to-end accounting responsibilities, working across multiple entities, and partnering closely with leadership and investors. The role utilizes property management software (Entrata) at the property level to support monthly reporting, while maintaining entity-level accounting and compliance.

• Maintain complete accounting records, reporting, and filing systems across multiple real estate entities
• Manage accounts payable and receivable for multifamily properties, retail assets, and related entities
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts for all entities in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Monitor financial performance and confirm financial condition through internal reviews and audits
• Support investor relations, including reporting and distribution tracking
• Maintain retirement account administration
• Prepare financials for all entities in support of annual tax return filings

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ideal but not required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience (real estate experience strongly preferred but not required)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Quick Books and/or Sage
• Working knowledge of real estate financing and lending structures
• CPA license a plus, but not required
