** You will be responsible for the following:
**** Strategic Commercial Partnership
*** Co-Pilot the Business:
Act as the primary financial advisor to the Business Unit Head, providing real-time financial guidance on strategy, pricing, and resource allocation.
* Deal & Case Evaluation:
Lead the financial modeling and stress-testing for new business cases, product launches, and partnership deals. ensuring sound commercial assumptions (NPV, IRR, ROI) before approval.
* Post-Investment Governance:
Conduct rigorous post-mortem reviews on implemented projects to validate if the promised ROI was delivered and identify lessons for future investments.
** Financial Planning & Analysis
*** Forward-Looking Insight:
Move beyond explaining "what happened" to predicting "what will happen." Drive scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to prepare the business for market volatility.
* Performance Management:
Orchestrate the monthly and quarterly business review processes (MOR/Q ). unexpected variances, but proactively identifying risks and opportunities to close gaps against targets.
* Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles for the BU, ensuring that financial targets are inextricably linked to operational drivers and KPIs.
** Operational Efficiency and Controllership
*** Unit Economics Optimization:
Deep dive into cost structures to ensure the business is scaling efficiently. Identify leakages and recommend cost-optimization initiatives without compromising growth.
* Revenue Assurance:
Collaborate with the Financial Reporting team to ensure complex commercial transactions are accurately recognized in the books (IFRS/GAAP compliance).
* Process Architecture:
Act as the connector between the Business and Central Finance, ensuring that operational executions (e.g., new incentives, vendor contracts) align with internal controls and governance standards.
