Located just east of downtown Kansas City, Ameristar Casino and Hotel Kansas City is a Midwestern entertainment hub offering something for everyone. It features one of the largest casino floors in Missouri, dining venues, a renovated luxury hotel, and more. The property provides convenient parking in a five-level, 2,660-space structure with an enclosed, climate-controlled walkway to the casino and entertainment center.

Ameristar Casino and Hotel is seeking a Food Server to serve breakfast at our new outlet, Sugo. The successful candidate will serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously.

• Greet guests with a smile
• Be familiar with menu items, daily specials, food preparations, and prices
• Use suggestive selling techniques for cocktails, appetizers, desserts, etc.
• Take customer orders and accurately input them into the computer
• Observe and anticipate guest needs, keep tables cleared between courses, and refill beverages throughout the meal
• Present checks for payment after service completion
• Practice safety procedures
• Follow department and property policies and procedures
• This is a uniformed position requiring team members to adhere to appearance standards while on duty
