Dealer, Table Games (Experienced) Full Time or Part Time Job Description
Dealers average an annual salary of $55,000.00 per year which includes base pay and pooled tips. New dealers can expect to often work at our busiest times which are evenings, nights and weekends. Full or Part time opportunities are available. Previous casino dealer experience is required in this role and knowledge of major games is a plus!
JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Caesars guests and generate revenue for the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrah’s guests and generate revenue for the department.
- Provide game instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
- Sponsors new dealers as needed in order to provide new hires with adequate on the job training.
- Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests and game layout.
- Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
- Stay informed on property and departmental promotions and events.
- Professional attitude, always setting the example.
- Works well with others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Successful completion of certified Dealer School.
- Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
- Must be able to count currency
- Must be able to deal all games certified
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
- Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
