A client of ours has multiple data center projects across the country and are looking to add Project Manager's to their team. Please reach out to learn about other locations across the country.
Responsibilities- Direct day-to-day site operations and participate in both recurring and special project meetings
- Act as the primary liaison between the client, design professionals, consultants, subcontractors, and the broader construction team for all MEP-related matters
- Coordinate efforts among engineers, trade partners, vendors, inspectors, developers, and facility operators to maintain alignment across disciplines
- Create, maintain, and update detailed project schedules spanning design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases
- Utilize project management and document control platforms to monitor MEP scope, budgets, and cost tracking
- Review and manage change order requests from the CM and subcontractors, maintaining clear documentation and communication logs
- Proactively resolve field conditions and ensure accountability for timely responses from responsible parties
- Track, review, and route RFIs to facilitate efficient resolution of outstanding technical questions
- Support permitting processes, including preparation and coordination of DOB PAA filings and associated documentation
- Perform site inspections, record deficiencies, and distribute follow-up reports to drive corrective actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in data center construction, project engineering, construction management, cost control, or similar environments
- Strong technical expertise in MEP systems and industry design standards
- Experience reviewing contracts, subcontractor proposals, and cost estimates
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes, local regulations, energy compliance requirements, and coordination with DOB and utility authorities
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally as project needs require
