In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for Engineers in all areas! As a team member you are responsible for a variety of responsibilities under moderate supervision. You may use broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, processes, and tools to complete various project subtasks. You will interact with internal customers and team members to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering program;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience;
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time;
- Ability to work hybrid or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business;
- Regular and reliable attendance as it is an essential function of this job;
- United States Citizenship; and
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for the position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
