Come join the fast-growing Electrical business class in the Building Engineering Services (BES) group provides industry-leading electrical, mechanical, plumbing, site civil, structural, control systems, fire & life safety, and lighting design services for a wide variety of buildings including public, municipal, private, and government project types. Projects balance local and regional work. With a team of experienced staff in market sectors such as Water/Wastewater, Datacenters, Healthcare, and Industrial facilities, we provide engineering excellence for our clients.
Responsibilities- Work under the direct supervision of a BIM Lead, Engineer, or other technical professional
- Assist in the development of the electrical BIM model, with direct supervision from the BIM or Engineering staff
- Responsible for assisting with the creation of the electrical BIM model, systems, content, and overall delivery output
- Accurately model BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the electrical design using Revit, Civil 3D, or other 3D software
- Maintain the electrical model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, matchlines, views, and sheets
- Produce electrical-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output
- Perform other duties as needed
- Technical certificate, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Required Qualifications- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
- Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
