The Platform Engineer designs, develops, and deploys complex infrastructure operating platforms and network solutions while providing technical expertise to both internal teams and clients. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated enterprise solutions aligned with organizational values of integrity, safety, and service excellence. The Platform Engineer plays a critical role in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and reliability, supporting modern software and infrastructure environments.

• Design, develop, and deploy complex infrastructure and network solutions
• Build and deploy automation scripts to optimize infrastructure management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise and software solutions
• Monitor infrastructure systems for security, compliance, and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including system outages
• Develop, test, and deploy new software and infrastructure components
• Respond to security incidents and provide remediation guidance
• Participate in the development and enforcement of security systems and policies
• Analyze security alerts, vulnerabilities, and threats to prevent incidents
• Perform additional duties as assigned while complying with all policies and standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field and 4+ years of experience in infrastructure/network systems, system engineering, or related roles OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience building cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Power Shell, Go, or similar)
• Experience using Git and modern code review/release workflows
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and certificate management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools
• Experience deploying and supporting containerized workloads
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with security systems, vulnerability management, and remediation

• Enterprise-scale cloud or platform engineering experience
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills across technical teams
