In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. The Applications Development Analyst I is responsible for application design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and technical support.

• Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned projects.
• Performs analysis, design, development, and testing of business solutions.
• Analyzes, designs, and implements well-documented solutions for assigned features.
• Collaborates with technical teams to improve product functionality.
• Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practices.
• Stays up-to-date with application roadmaps, relevant technology, and industry best practices.
• Identifies and resolves application security vulnerabilities.
• Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.
• Supporting SAP S/4
  
  HANA applications within a private cloud environment (NS2) or on premise.

• Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
• Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

• Functional proficiency in the following: development and applications (e.g., SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA).
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
• Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
• Coursework or job experience related to:
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA & ECC module exposure (FI, MM, SD, PP, CO, HR/HCM, SCM,EWM).
• Systems Analysis and Design methodologies.
• ERP Systems implementation/simulation projects.
• University coursework or related job experience associated to SAP that includes: ABAP development, BTP Integration Suite, OData services, SAC, BW4
  
  HANA.
