Electrical Estimator

Mark One is looking for an experienced, team-oriented Estimator. The successful candidate must be a self‑motivated problem solver with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and possess a passion for excellence.

• Assemble material and labor costs for clients and proposals for construction projects
• Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre‑qualification tasks
• Analyze and insert specialty and standard equipment and material pricing into the estimate
• Confirm our estimate meets the schedule protocol and specifications of scope
• Evaluate and condition subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Research cost history and update data base(s)
• Provide preliminary pricing for indirect and general conditions
• Responsible for reviewing specialty and standard equipment pricing
• Review plans and specifications for completion of estimates
• Review commercial terms and conditions for cost and risk items and present concerns to lead estimator
• Responsible for the accuracy and validity of estimate clarifications and assumptions
• Analyze and price value engineering for submission
• All other duties as assigned

• 2 plus years of experience as an estimator in electrical construction or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent degree; applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required) and Trimble Accubid v16 (preferred)
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders
• Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills
• Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
