Mechanical Engineer

The client is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team specializing in the design of mechanical systems for healthcare, higher education, civic, and commercial projects
. This role involves contributing to all phases of design and construction, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring projects meet the highest engineering and energy standards.

This position is ideal for engineers with a strong foundation in HVAC and hydronic design who are ready to apply their expertise to meaningful, large-scale projects.

• Deliver technical design and quality control for assigned projects.
• Produce construction documents for new builds, renovations, and additions.
• Conduct system calculations, layouts, and ensure compliance with energy/mechanical codes.
• Participate in construction administration, including site visits and shop drawing reviews.
• Research project-related data and integrate findings into designs.
• Assist in writing and maintaining project specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on QA feedback.

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and hydronic design.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, or commercial mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Trane Trace, and Revit.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
