We are seeking an experienced Staff Civil Designer to join our civil engineering team and support a diverse portfolio of projects across land development, infrastructure, and facilities. This role involves contributing to all phases of civil design—from planning and analysis through to construction documentation—while working closely with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Perform civil design for a variety of projects, including site design and land development, roads and traffic control, storm
  
  ANGLE drainage and stormwater management systems, water and sanitary sewer utilities, sediment and erosion control, airports and facility design.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, calculations, and layouts for complex, non‑routine assignments.
• Execute design changes, mark‑ups, and revisions on active projects.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and topographical/geotechnical data to support design decisions.
• Apply applicable design codes, standards, and specifications.
• Review design drawings for quality, accuracy, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Prepare volume calculations for excavation, dredging, and site grading.
• Incorporate project schedules, budgets, and criteria into civil layouts and designs.
• Maintain organized project documentation, drawings, and plot files.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and project managers across disciplines.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Drafting Technology or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 9+ years of progressive civil detailing and design experience.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, and Excel

• Strong expertise in civil design calculations, systems, and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering theory and practices, with working knowledge of related disciplines.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary, team‑based environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and attention to detail.
