Overview

The Sr. Industrial Wastewater Project Manager will lead, direct, develop and market projects involving the planning, design and construction administration of industrial water and wastewater facilities.
Responsibilities- Direct project staff and serve as project director or project manager for industrial water/wastewater initiatives.
- Lead the marketing, planning of proposals and participation in interviews.
- Manage projects and tasks, conducting complex process engineering, collecting and presenting data in reports, memos and public forums.
- Produce design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Possess experience with design/build projects.
- Communicate effectively with strong oral and written skills, demonstrating leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure strongly preferred.
- Experience in municipal or industrial water and wastewater systems planning and design, including project management.
- Technical background in process design of industrial organic water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills within industrial facility environments.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
- Experience handling multiple assignments.
- Master’s Degree.
- PMP certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10 years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years in project management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Commitment to actively participating in HDR’s employee‑owned culture.

Minnesota: $131,198 – $187,425 (dependent on skills, experience, education, and geographic location).
