Sales Engineer

Compensation: $70,000–$120,000 Based on Experience

Our partner is seeking a Sales Engineer who combines technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in automation, controls, or related engineering environments who wants to grow their career while working on diverse, high-impact projects.

In this position, you’ll collaborate across engineering, operations, and customer teams to design tailored solutions, support project development, and lead technical sales efforts. The work is dynamic, fast-moving, and rooted in solving real-world challenges.

• Develop engineered solutions for customers across various industrial and infrastructure environments
• Work closely with engineering partners, integrators, contractors, and end users to scope projects
• Prepare proposals, technical quotations, and bid responses
• Deliver technical presentations to both small and large groups
• Review performance specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
• Support automation, controls, and system integration initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and technical alignment
• Travel as needed to customer sites, project locations, and partner meetings

• Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or process control
• Understanding of networking, telecom systems, and control communication protocols
• Familiarity with PLC/DCS platforms such as Rockwell, Schneider, Emerson, or similar
• Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and engineering packages
• Experience supporting project development, proposals, and solution design
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to diverse audiences
• A problem-solver’s mindset with the ability to work across multiple engineering areas
