Engineer - Structural at Walter P Moore
We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer in a variety of our office locations. The individual will collaborate closely with a team of Structural Engineers and Project Managers, requiring a team-oriented, client-focused attitude.
Responsibilities- Perform structural computations for concrete, steel, and other structures.
- Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
- Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
- Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on building codes.
- Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables.
- Prepare technical studies and reports.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- 4-8 years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in resident state required.
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
