About the RoleAre you a detail-driven Mechanical Engineer who loves turning complex problems into elegant solutions? At Heritage Civil Works, we are searching for a sharp, curious, and reliable engineer to join our fully remote team. You'll work on cutting-edge projects in industries like power generation, pollution control, aerospace, and biotechnology, developing advanced modeling, physical systems, and custom hardware.

What You'll Be DoingYou’ll be diving deep into real engineering challenges that matter. Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, analyze, and test mechanical systems.
- Use tools like Solid Works, ANSYS, or CFD software to create and simulate system models.
- Support the development of custom test hardware and physical modeling setups.
- Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and client presentations.
- Participate in team reviews, brainstorming sessions, and continuous improvement efforts.
We're all about curiosity, collaboration, and craftsmanship. Here’s what we hope you bring:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, or testing.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Solid Works preferred) and simulation software.
- Strong communication skills, you'll work closely with other remote team members.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage your time and workload independently.
- Experience with CFD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), or thermal systems.
- Exposure to industries like pollution control, aerospace, or power systems.
- Familiarity with custom test hardware or prototyping.
