American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works by providing innovative education and credentialing opportunities for professional development.
The Education Associate is the face of the Education team, providing the first level of customer service for all programming.

This position will serve as primary point of contact for the education team by providing administrative and customer service support to the education programs. This position is expected to be well versed in all education and credentialing (EC) programs and be able to respond to all phone and email inquiries. This includes the ability to explain all EC programs and processes, link together EC programs, and troubleshoot for all programs.
The ideal candidate will have exemplary customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, be well versed in and able to efficiently use technology, and be comfortable in a fast‑paced setting servicing a wide variety of internal and external customers.
What You Will Need To Succeed- Associate’s degree required
- 2 years of related experience providing administrative support
- Customer/member service oriented
- Excellent computer and communication skills
- Project management experience
- Association experience preferred
- Leadership:

Experience:
Previous experience working with or in an association and understanding the customer service needs of members and volunteers.
