OverviewThe Department of Political Science and Philosophy prepares students for a variety of careers and develops analytical reading, thinking, writing, and argumentation skills.
Position SummaryWe are seeking qualified adjunct instructors to deliver undergraduate courses in Political Science or Philosophy. This is a part‑time, non‑benefit eligible, unranked, non‑tenure track position. Days and hours will vary based on the opportunity. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Political Science or Philosophy.
- Develop and deliver course materials aligned with departmental objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development as needed.
- Minimum of a master’s degree in Political Science or Philosophy, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
