Job Description
The intent of this posting is to identify a pool of Adjunct Instructors who are qualified to deliver undergraduate and graduate level courses in the English Department.
This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible unranked academic position. Appointment period is for the semester with consideration for reappointment. Hours, days, and whether online or in-person will vary depending on the opportunity.
QualificationsCandidates should possess a terminal degree or equivalent level of professional experience, a strong record of professional experience in areas specific to the topic, and the ability to design and deliver a course to meet student learning outcomes.
The Adjunct Instructor appointment is for courses taught in-person on the UMKC Volker Campus or online. For those courses taught online, a certification is required through the University.
