The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor position from outstanding candidates with expertise in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology. This is a 9-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked faculty promotion. Initial appointment is for the academic year.
Qualifications- MBA or related graduate degree (including a PhD or DBA) where the business school is accredited by AACSB or EQUIS with significant coursework in areas related to expected teaching assignments.
- For candidates with an MBA or MS degree, at least 5 years of professional experience in areas related to expected teaching assignments.
- Experience, professional engagement, and/or research and publications must allow for candidate to meet AACSB faculty qualifications.
- Evidence documenting expertise in areas related to technology and innovation, commercialization, and/or product development.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate competencies critical for instructional effectiveness, the ability to address the needs of students from across a broad portfolio of programs and from different backgrounds, and the capacity to utilize different teaching modalities.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate outreach capabilities and competencies relating to the design and delivery of co-curricular programming.
This is a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor position and salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience and evidence of success in publications and research.
