The Division of Neurology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City is recruiting a pediatric neuropsychologist. Primary responsibilities include assessment of patients in our comprehensive epilepsy surgery program. The Comprehensive Epilepsy Center offers multidisciplinary clinical support to pediatric patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Our program is recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers as a Level IV Center, the highest obtainable level in epileptic care.

• Assessing patients referred from the division of neurosurgery for a variety of conditions, as well as patients referred from the division of cardiology through the cardiac neurodevelopmental program.
• Opportunities for developing other collaborations are also available.
• Teaching and supervising students in the hospital’s pediatric medical residency, Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology member postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology, and/or psychology practicum programs.
• Engaging in scholarly activity, including participation in ongoing research, initiating new research endeavors, and program development.
• Academic appointment at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, with rank commensurate to qualifications and experience.

• Postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, adhering to Houston Guidelines.
• PhD (or equivalent) in clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, or child clinical psychology.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary teams.
• Eligibility for licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
