Pediatric Diagnostic Radiologist Overview
The Department of Radiology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC‑SOM) seek a clinical/academic diagnostic pediatric radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group. The position will be based at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, a 195‑bed children’s hospital in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The role offers a collegial, private‑practice style work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging and teleradiology access to subspecialty academic pediatric radiologists at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Compensation, paid time off and benefits are highly competitive to the market.
Responsibilities- Practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging, excluding nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging and interventional radiology.
- Teach radiology residents from multiple residency programs.
- Engage in research opportunities (not required).
- Collaborate with the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine and an adjunct appointment is University School of Medicine.
- Maintain CAQ‑accredited fellowship program participation.
- CAQ‑certified or CAQ‑eligible in Pediatric Radiology.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
