About the Role
The Department of Radiology at Childrens Mercy Kansas City and the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC-SOM) seek a clinical / academic diagnostic pediatric radiologist to join a highly specialized academic Pediatric Radiology group. This position will be placed at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital (a 195-bed childrens hospital) in the St. Louis metropolitan area. This position includes a collegial, private practice style work environment with autonomous management of pediatric imaging that also includes teleradiology access to subspecialty academic pediatric radiologists at Childrens Mercy Hospital.
Our rapidly growing Radiology Department at Children's Mercy is comprised of 27 radiologists with subspecialty expertise in all areas of pediatric imaging. Compensation, paid time off and benefits are highly competitive to the market.
Responsibilities- Practice within all aspects of pediatric imaging, excluding nuclear medicine, cardiac imaging and interventional radiology.
- Teaching duties include radiology residents from multiple residency programs.
- Research opportunities are available but not required.
- CAQ-certified or CAQ-eligible in Pediatric Radiology.
- Academic appointments through the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine with an adjunct appointment is University School of Medicine.
- Experience or interest in pediatric radiology practice.
This position will be hired through and employed by Childrens Mercy and primarily serve Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital located in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
