Overview
We seek a pediatric dermatologist who is board eligible/certified in dermatology with additional fellowship training in pediatric dermatology. Join a collegial group of 5 pediatric dermatologists and 6 nurse practitioners that are passionate about the care of children with skin disorders.

Responsibilities- Caring for infants, children and adolescents with dermatologic disorders in outpatient clinics
- Staffing inpatient consultations
- Educating pediatric dermatology fellows, pediatric/dermatology residents, and medical students
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
About the DepartmentThe Pediatric Dermatology Department at Children s Mercy provides the highest quality, compassionate care to children with a variety of skin, hair and nail conditions. We serve as advocates for children and families through cutting-edge clinical research and educational outreach. We are the largest pediatric-focused dermatology clinic in the region and are one of the largest academic pediatric dermatology programs in the country.
ClinicalHighlights & Collaboration
Special multidisciplinary clinics are held for genetic skin disorders, melanoma, neurocutaneous disorders, neurofibromatosis/tuberous sclerosis, and complex vascular anomalies. Opportunities exist for performing laser and excisional surgeries, as well as research endeavors. Ongoing collaboration with in-house subspecialists and ancillary services in infectious disease, rheumatology, allergy and immunology, pathology, radiology, hematology/oncology, nutrition, psychology and plastic surgery.
