Treatment Coordinator

NKC Dental is a high-tech, eco-friendly dental office serving the Kansas City, Missouri area since 1990. The practice was founded by Dr. Bill Busch, DMD, MAGD, and offers a wide range of services, including basic oral hygiene, root canals, cavity treatment, and teeth whitening. In 2013, Dr. Tucker Van Yperen, a graduate of Case Western University, joined the practice. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Kansas City, MO for a Dental Treatment Coordinator. The Dental Treatment Coordinator will work directly with patients to educate them on treatment plans, explain financial options, and handle insurance-related matters. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, reviewing treatment costs, coordinating care with the dental team, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Skills in Treatment Planning and knowledge of dental care procedures
• Proficiency in working with Insurance verification and claims
• Strong Customer Service skills and ability to build positive relationships with patients
• Excellent Communication skills, including active listening and clear explanations
• Familiarity with dental office software and administrative practices is preferred
• Highly organized with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or administration is advantageous
