Salary: $15.00–$16.00 per hour

This position will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the Front Desk, including processing of guest check‑ins, member retention, and maintaining quality customer service.

• Executes procedures as outlined by front desk manual
• Answers phones, takes messages and transfers calls
• Is knowledgeable of clubs amenities and surroundings
• Communicates kindly and sincerely, using members’ names
• Attends all staff and club meetings and events
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with members and staff
• Ensures front desk is clean, maintained and organized at all times
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
• Provides input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
• Ability to work well with others
• Experience in cash handling and credit cards
• Customer service abilities

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
