Job Summary
Americo is seeking a full‑time Agent Service Representative to join our team. This position provides a single contact point for Agents/IMOs who have questions or need assistance in facilitating business processes related to product knowledge, system support, licensing and contracting, commissions, agent debt, new business, or underwriting. Contact Center Associates will facilitate tasks and communication across departments to ensure that agent needs and expected service levels are being met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Agents/Independent Marketing Organizations with phone inquiries and the facilitation of items related to licensing, new business and commissions/debt.
- Assist Agents/Independent Marketing Organizations with email requests for information or assistance.
- Facilitate tasks/communication across departments to ensure agents’ needs and expected service level commitments are met.
- Provide sales assistance, including product and system information, running illustrations, placing orders, and completing applications.
- Make proactive calls to new/existing agents to persuade them to sell Americo.
Skills and Abilities
- Full knowledge of insurance contracts and insurance philosophy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong desire to interact with others via phone.
- Typing speed of 35 wpm. Ability to quickly document files and move to the next item.
- Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency. Able to build rapport while facilitating speedy resolution.
- Courteous and patient; positive attitude even when the situation is unpleasant. Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to operate in a high‑energy, ever‑changing environment with minimal assistance and direction.
- Excellent phone voice, grammar and a strong desire to help people. Ability to work well with others at various levels within the organization.
- Independent problem‑solving abilities. Desire and ability to take ownership of situations and resolve problems.
- Looking for both bilingual and non‑bilingual candidates.
