Field Engineer

Capital Paving & Construction (CPC) is a heavy highway and civil construction company. We are looking to hire Project Engineers for projects throughout the United States. This position will be an excellent opportunity to learn about many aspects of construction by working with experienced CPC construction professionals to ensure the project is successfully delivered. This position requires extensive travel and deployment based on project location.

## Qualifications##
** QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Entry Level to 5 years’ experience.
* Demonstrates enthusiasm for seeing projects take shape, has construction knowledge, and strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Extensive experience in Microsoft Office preferred.
* Experience with Critical Path Scheduling software preferred (Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.)
* Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work nationwide.
* Valid driver’s license required.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: physical, drug, and background.##

* Ability to navigate active construction sites safely.
* Ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
