• Ensuring safety in all that we do.
• Report to the VP of Civil Construction.
• Preview, plan, and schedule jobs ensuring safety concerns, project layout and logistics are addressed while also ensuring material, equipment and personnel are available.
• Manage and supervise three concrete crews.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and cost control on projects.
• Customer relations including pre‑job meetings and reviewing/resolving punch list items.
• Daily communication with supervisor, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and owners reps.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and time cards for job costing.
• Develop and implement solutions for routine problems and work‑around plans.
• Operation of skid steer and other equipment as needed.
• Train, manage, and provide positive reinforcement to foremen, finishers, operators, drivers, and laborers as necessary.
• Assisting crew as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations of foreman and assist foreman with conducting performance evaluations of all other team members.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing as needed.

• Strong work ethic with a desire to succeed.
• A demonstrated ability to lead people and manage projects.
• Relatively clean motor vehicle report. (Applicants with a drug or alcohol driving offense in the last five years will not be considered. Other violations will be evaluated using our insurance company standards.)
• 7 years of experience in the concrete industry with at least 3 years as a foreman or higher.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• CDL A preferred but not required.
• Ability to work 40–60 hours a week including weekends.
