Responsibilities
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to identify best construction routes with clients, assess risks, and determine optimal construction methodology and schedules.
  • Participate in estimating meetings and provide rates for construction activities in high‑voltage transmission projects.
  • Support estimating activities, providing feedback on manpower, equipment, and resources required for large‑size projects.
  • Supervise and assist the Superintendent, General Foreman, and/or Foreman to schedule work, crews, tools, and equipment for efficiency and to minimize travel time.
  • Work with PEs/PMs to update schedules.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 345kV, 500kV, 765kV Transmission lines.
  • OSHA 30 or other safety training course.
  • Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, with an acceptable driving record.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the construction of 765kV high‑voltage transmission projects.
  • Ability to work with advanced computer software.
  • Experience in estimating large projects in terms of value and duration.
