This position supports a full-time traveling assignment in Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables market segments.

Position Description

Leads, directs, and coordinates the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor regarding Mechanical and Electrical systems. Responsible for safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence. Supervises Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, Interns, and trade labor.

Project Superintendent, Project Manager, or MEP Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage performance related to scheduling, logistics, quality control, and staffing.
  • Coordinate work among trades, resolve local issues regarding procedures, design, labor, and schedule.
  • Oversee site safety programs and compliance with safety standards and codes.
  • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns.
  • Ensure adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Create work schedules, develop recovery strategies, and maintain project timeline and budget.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers about field issues, investigate and resolve them.
  • Manage billing, including work in place, payrolls, invoices, and payment applications.
  • Ensure work installation complies with contract documents.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems layout with engineers and architects.
  • Lead inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover, and training processes.
  • Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for conformance with plans and codes.
  • Review project changes with the Project Engineer.
  • Keep detailed records of work progress.
  • Participate in preconstruction efforts such as constructability and logistics planning.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or four years of engineering/architectural experience plus six years of relevant construction experience, or equivalent. Knowledge of building construction, systems, scheduling, cost control, and BIM. Strong communication, leadership, and computer skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires physical ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work in construction environments with noise, weather, and safety hazards. Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

Work is performed on-site at construction locations with exposure to mechanical parts, heights, airborne particles, and electrical hazards. Noise levels are typically moderate to loud.
