Flex Caregiver

Jovie is currently hiring reliable, caring on-call caregivers to support families in need of backup and short-term childcare and adult/companion care. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work with the opportunity to grow into higher-paying, consistent placement positions

Pay: $16/hour (on-call)

Future Opportunities: $16–$23/hour (placement roles)

As an on-call caregiver
, you’ll share your schedule and allow families and clients to book care as needed. Assignments vary in schedule and setting, making this an excellent option for caregivers who value flexibility and variety. You can adjust your schedule as needed on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis.

• Provide safe, nurturing care for children of various ages
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
• Assist with basic routines such as meals, naps, and light cleanup related to childcare
• Communicate professionally with families and Jovie staff

• Childcare experience (professional and personal references)
• Reliable transportation (non-shared vehicle)
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Ability to adapt to new families and environments
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ongoing support from a local team
• Clear opportunities for advancement into higher-paying, consistent roles
