Position Summary:
The Dire ctor of Sales will be responsible for developing and leading the go-to-market strategy for our Insurance and Security business unit by aligning sales resources and activities with the appropriate market segments. They will lead a team of account executives to expand the footprint of existing B2B accounts while acquiring new customers. They will also research new routes to market in order to maximize coverage and gain market shares in under-represented segments.
We’re looking for a self-starter, an individual who will be able to implement a multi-faceted approach to the market while implementing the adequate processes and sales discipline and driving the right behaviors. The ideal candidate has experience working in a B2B sales environment and has demonstrable success in building high-performance go-to-market teams.
Essential Functions /
Job Responsibilities:
- Own and drive top-line revenue growth through existing account development and new logo acquisition
- Oversee Salesforce utilization and data accuracy to ensure clear visibility into pipeline health and forecasting.
- Establish and track key performance metrics ( activities , time to close, retention , deal velocity, pipeline coverage).
- Build out regular meeting cadence to ensure strong funnel management and accountability.
- Establish and implement clear territory methodology , comp plans, and sales targets
- Own and drive top-line revenue growth through existing account development and new logo acquisition
- Expand customer base by building and maintaining executive relationships with key customers; and working directly with prospects and direct reports on new opportunities
- Provide sales forecasts , revenue commitments, or related reports to senior management for strategic planning purposes
- Participate in strategic planning to develop thorough, bottoms-up revenue projections for annual budgets and multi-year projections
- Work with the marketing and product team to align market opportunities to go-to-market strategy and tactics and build effective sales campaigns to grow awareness, generate qualified leads, win and retain customers
Skills Required:
- Experience leading a B2B sales organization selling to a mix of large, medium and small enterprises, preferably into a regulated industry
- Experience selling value to enterprises, and developing and owning business cases to support and demonstrate that value
- 5 + years of senior sales management experience with a proven track record of driving top-line growth and exceeding quotas
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience implementing disciplined sales processes
- Ability to operate in an acquisitive environment with conviction and urgency
- Proven ability to identify key stakeholders, develop and maintain sales relationships
- Entrepreneurial attitude: you get the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities

This position directly supervises a team.

Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000 total compensation includes base salary plus commission.
