Purpose
Create and develop relationships supportive of the Baker Group mission statement with employees, internal and external customers. Provide opportunities to increase business unit revenues by marketing and cross-selling products and services, including industrial process and HVAC controls. Manage projects from design to owner training, maintaining the "Customer for Life" concept for existing and new customers.
Support sales efforts, review estimates, document scope, review control submittals, assist in scheduling and revenue forecasting. Price change orders, review team goals, coordinate project execution, manage documentation, financials, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Understand industrial automation, manufacturing, processing, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, cross-sell capabilities, and provide solutions utilizing internal estimating software.
- Review solutions with team members, act as the account manager during project execution, attend scheduling and project meetings, facilitate turnovers, procure subcontracts, and manage project financials.
- Ensure accurate reporting and cross-sell opportunities.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Management, or Engineering preferred.
- Experience in industrial controls, estimating, project management, and customer relationship growth.
- Valid driver’s license and passing background check required.
