E-Billing Analyst (Legal) | Kansas City Metro (Hybrid/Onsite)
Our client in the Kansas City metro is hiring an E-Billing Analyst to support North America e-invoicing. This person will own the day-to-day electronic invoice submission cycle—from client onboarding to tracking submissions, fixing rejections, and driving acceptance—while partnering closely with Billing, Collections, Attorneys, and internal finance leadership.
Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end e-billing for assigned attorneys/matter teams
- Onboard new clients into e-billing platforms and vendor portals; gather required documentation
- Communicate implementation timelines and billing requirements to internal stakeholders
- Submit and manage monthly e-invoices, ensuring compliance with client and firm guidelines
- Track invoices from submission rejection/appeal acceptance, resolving issues quickly
- Research rejected invoices (LEDES/XML, coding, rules, rates, etc.) and coordinate corrections/resubmissions
- Support new timekeeper setup and rate approvals through e-billing systems
- Maintain client/matter data and arrangement terms in Elite 3E (or comparable legal finance system)
- Assist with month-end/year-end support, reporting, and ad-hoc projects as needed
- 3+ years of legal e-billing experience
- Strong working knowledge of e-billing platforms (e.g., Tymetrix/Legal-X, Serengeti, Legal eBilling Hub, etc.)
- Experience with Elite 3E preferred (or similar legal billing/finance system)
- Solid understanding of complex billing guidelines, rate arrangements, and multi-payor workflows
- Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency
- Working knowledge of LEDES and XML invoice files
- Detail-driven, service-minded, able to communicate clearly with attorneys and clients
- Exposure to insurance/London Markets or 3rd-party payor environments;
French fluency
