Overview

Your Responsibilities The Communications Specialist, Executive Visibility will support senior leaders by strengthening their external presence, thought leadership, and messaging across key platforms. This role will focus on building and managing executive Linked In profiles and content, identifying and securing speaking opportunities, and ensuring consistent, compelling messaging aligned with Lockton’s brand and strategic priorities.

This is a hands-on role for a strong writer, editor, and relationship manager who is comfortable working closely with executives and translating complex ideas into clear, credible, and engaging communications across marketing channels.

Responsibilities
  • Executive Linked In Presence:
    Build, manage, and evolve executive Linked In profiles to reflect leadership voice, expertise, and brand alignment.
  • Develop and maintain a steady cadence of executive Linked In content, including posts, articles, and engagement strategies. Support publishing content, engaging with Lockton and other leader content.
  • Partner directly with executives to understand their perspectives, priorities, and comfort level with social presence.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and positioning across all executive profiles.
  • Thought Leadership & Messaging Support:
    Support development of executive messaging, talking points, and narrative themes aligned with enterprise priorities, to include ghostwriting.
  • Translate business strategy, industry insights, and leadership viewpoints into clear, authentic executive content.
  • Coordinate closely with the broader Corporate Communications team to ensure message alignment.
  • Speaking Opportunities & Panels:
    Identify relevant speaking opportunities, panels, conferences, industry events, and media forums aligned to executive expertise.
  • Support submissions, abstracts, and outreach to event organizers.
  • Maintain a forward-looking calendar of speaking opportunities and executive participation.
  • Assist with preparation of remarks, talking points, and presentation materials as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Partner with Marketing, Brand, and Events teams to ensure executive visibility efforts are coordinated and amplified.
  • Work with external partners, conference organizers, and industry groups as needed.
  • Support earned media amplification when executive thought leadership aligns with media opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Track engagement, reach, and impact of executive Linked In activity and speaking engagements.
  • Maintain organized records of content, approvals, and calendars.
  • Bring discipline, follow-through, and attention to detail to all executive-facing work.
Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of experience in communications, executive communications, public relations, or related fields.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for senior leaders.
  • Experience managing or supporting executive social media presence, particularly Linked In.
  • Familiarity with identifying and securing speaking opportunities, panels, or thought leadership platforms.
  • Comfort working directly with senior leaders in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Professional services, financial services, insurance, or B2B experience.
  • Experience supporting C-suite or senior executive communications.
  • Understanding of brand governance and executive reputation management.
