ABOUT THE JOB
The Regional Sales Manager for Illinois/Wisconsin/Minnesota will drive brand growth in the general market by managing sales activities, building strong relationships with key accounts, and overseeing a direct report. You will work closely with the sales team to implement strategies that align with company goals and enhance brand visibility.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
- Strategic Sales & Distribution: Develop and execute sales plans to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility in the Illinois/Wisconsin/Minnesota market.
- Distributor Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributors, ensuring alignment with brand and channel priorities. Conduct regular business reviews and lead distributor training.
- Field Presence: Spend an average of four days per week in the field, visiting key accounts, and working with distributors to maximize brand impact and identify new opportunities.
- Brand Execution: Lead the implementation of strategic programs for product launches, retail promotions, and brand‑building activities. Support distributor execution within the territory.
- Market Analysis: Use data‑driven insights to identify opportunities and allocate resources effectively. Maintain thorough knowledge of key accounts and market conditions.
- Relationship Building: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, building strong relationships with decision‑makers and consulting on strategies that benefit both parties.
- Event Participation: Represent the brand at trade and consumer events, conducting product presentations and training to increase brand awareness and loyalty.
