CB Partners is supporting a national law firm seeking a highly organized, detail‑driven Legal Coordinator to support multiple attorneys within the labor and employment practice. This role requires strong time management, strong communication skills, and knowledge of judicial procedures. The position is hybrid, based in Kansas City, MO.
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys and coordinate work with other departments.
- Prepare and submit accurate work requests with clear instructions and needed documents.
- Communicate with case teams to avoid duplicate requests and keep everyone aligned.
- Track court and agency deadlines and notify attorneys promptly.
- Prepare TOCs and TOAs.
- Finalize and coordinate documents for court or agency filings and ensure proper service.
- E‑file documents following all federal, state, and agency rules.
- Organize and file documents.
- Create and submit New Client Matters according to firm standards.
- Coordinate transcription requests and manage printing/assembly with office services.
- Submit daily task logs showing work completed and tasks in progress.
- Review and update client pre‑bills when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to support multiple attorneys and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize, anticipate needs, and monitor case timelines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven expertise producing TOCs and TOAs.
- In‑depth knowledge of court rules, e‑filing requirements, and judicial procedures.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, and legal document creation tools.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and experience using document management systems.
Experience & Education
Required: Minimum 3+ years of legal administrative experience
Preferred: 5+ years of Legal, Case Clerk or Paralegal experience
