About the Role

As the CBRE Evening and Weekend Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and day-of execution of small to large events. You will work a flexible schedule that will include working independently up to 4 evenings/nights a week and up to 3 Saturdays a month.

What You Will Do
  • Primary point of contact for planning and coordination of meetings that take place after 5:00 on weekdays and up to 3 Saturdays a month. Working a flexible schedule to maintain full-time status when evening and Saturday events are not scheduled.
  • Provide technical AV assistance to meeting guests and become the primary backup to the Conference Center technology specialist.
  • Assist meeting planners with reporting and scheduling events.
  • Oversee Conference Center turnover and room refresh.
  • Recognize and solve typical and a-typical problems that can occur during events without supervisor approval.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Assist with other duties delegated by the CBRE Property Manager, including but not limited to front desk reception coverage.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
